🐠 How to Acclimate New Guppy Fish

🔹 📦 Unpack Carefully – Gently remove the bag containing your guppies from the shipping box.

🔹 🌡️ Float to Match Temperature – Place the sealed bag in your tank for 15-20 minutes to equalize water temperature.

🔹 💧 Drip Acclimate – Slowly add small amounts of tank water to the bag every 5 minutes for about 30-45 minutes.

🔹 🏠 Release Gently – Use a net to transfer the guppies into the tank, avoiding adding bag water.

🔹 💡 Dim the Lights – Reduce lighting for a few hours to minimize stress.

🔹 🌊 Monitor Behavior – Guppies may be shy at first; allow them time to explore.

🔹 🛡️ Check Water Parameters – Ensure pH, temperature, and ammonia levels match their needs.

🔹 🍽️ Wait Before Feeding – Feed after 4-6 hours once they’ve adjusted.

With proper acclimation, your guppies will settle in quickly and thrive in their new home! 😊

Customer photo review of Blue Tanzanite Guppy Fish

Tanzanite and metal lace are sooo gorgeous! I want a tank full of them!

The package 📦 arrived late, I was terrified that every fish and snail would be passed due to the Arizona heat when I open the package the cooling ice was completely melted, and the box was very warm. When I took them out, they were barely hanging on to life. And one of the guppies had babies.

They look really blue in the picture but mine are basically black.

Customer photo review of Blue Tanzanite Guppy Fish

Order 5 tanzanite blue guppies. One male arrived with a destroyed dorsal fin and the other male was not even the correct type, its a black/blue tuxedo. Disappointed for sure. Hoping the one, correct, male makes it and doesn't succumb to his injury.
