Flowerhorn Fish Acclimate

1. Dim Aquarium Lights: Reduce stress by turning off or dimming your tank lights.
2. Float the Bag: Place the sealed fish bag in the aquarium to equalize the water temperatures for about 15-30 minutes.
3. Add Aquarium Water: Open the bag and add a cup of aquarium water every 10 minutes for about an hour to adjust the Flowerhorn to your tank's water parameters.
4. Transfer the Flowerhorn: Use a net to move the Flowerhorn from the bag to the aquarium, avoiding adding the bag's water.
5. Monitor and Adjust: Watch the Flowerhorn for stress or discomfort and gradually increase light over a few hours.
6. Check Water Quality: Keep an eye on water conditions for the next few days.
7. Feed Sparingly: Start feeding lightly after the Flowerhorn seems adjusted, usually within 24-48 hours.
